MICHAEL MILTON
ACTOR

ABOUT ME

I’m a bi-coastal New York/LA–based actor who also happens to sing and dance — which still feels slightly surreal to the Southern boy who grew up climbing Florida magnolia trees. If you had told that version of me I’d go on to be in multiple Broadway shows on tour, performing in New York and around the world, and working in film, TV, commercial, and modeling, I would’ve probably fallen off my branch.

I didn’t grow up around the arts. I grew up around hard work and a very practical understanding of responsibility. But somewhere between memorizing every annoying commercial that came on TV and quoting Jim Carrey a little too loudly in public places, I knew I wanted to act.

I fell off the tractor and into song and dance, which helped me save enough money while performing on cruise ships to get me to New York, where I built my foundation with some big shows, big audiences, and no second takes.

But film was always the endgame, so I became bi-coastal, now spending more time in Los Angeles where I finally get to play close-up.

I’m 6'2", baritone, athletic, and I tend to play grounded men with presence — roles like Nick Massi in Jersey Boys, Johnny Castle in Dirty Dancing, and the UPS Guy in Legally Blonde. Leaders, romantics, quiet anchors of a story, often with more going on beneath the surface than they initially reveal.

When I’m not acting, I’m usually working on my fitness, dancing, or designing something. I have a degree in Entrepreneurship, and I’ve founded several companies. I like creating things. Whether it’s a character’s life or my own, I try to make it as authentic and well rounded as I can.
